Exploring Social-Emotional Leaning Through Art

Help me give my students the art supplies to support their creative minds. The items focus on multicultural supplies so that students can show a true representation of themself.

My Project

I have an amazing class of diverse learners, many of whom come from low-income families and have not had the opportunity to use a variety of art mediums. Many of the supplies on the list are multicultural so that students can feel comfortable representing themself. Along with these supplies, I will be incorporating literature about emotions. Students will then be given the opportunity to draw and make a class mural about feelings. Along with cooperative group projects. Students will use the supplies when feeling upset or frustrated to calm their bodies down. Art is a wonderful way for them to express their emotions.
