This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am passionate about my students' curiosity and eagerness to learn. Each of them brings a unique perspective to the classroom, enriching our discussions and fostering a vibrant learning environment. Books are an essential part of learning and developing language. My goal for this project is to bring students their favorite books in Spanish, and a fun way to read with some mini flashlight to follow the reading or for silent read time.

This will allow my students to experience their favorite tales and learn in Spanish, increase their Spanish language, and become better readers while exploring aeound the world.

By providing them with diverse readings, we can broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding. Through these readings, they will not only improve their language skills but also develop empathy, cultural awareness, and a sense of interconnectedness with people from various backgrounds.

My goals for this project are multifaceted. Firstly, I aim to foster a love for reading and exploration among my students; by exposing them to captivating stories and perspectives from around the globe, I hope to ignite their curiosity and inspire them to become lifelong learners. My wish is for them to fall in love with reading while discovering new places around the globe.
