This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is made up of 18 eager-to-learn students. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. My students live in a community that is a high need, low-income area made up of hard-working parents who set amazing examples for their children. Additionally, we have many students who have been living in homeless shelters their whole lives.
My students want to learn and develop and understand what school is about while having fun.
With support, I will be able to bring in new, innovative ways to keep my students engaged.
With our school losing over a million dollars from the school budget for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school year, we need your help now more than ever!
My Project
With your generous donation my students will have access to materials that teach their about their five senses! My students will learn about the senses of sight, touch, taste, smell and sound and how each sense as a special purpose.
My students will be able to realize that they can use their senses to help them grow and learn while playing with cool toys like Mr. Potato head.
Your support will give my students materials that they do not have access too and help strengthen their use of different senses to learn. Thank you for caring about their learning and giving them this wonderful opportunity.
