Exploring Our Inner Powers!

Help me give my students enjoy playing outside and using their fine and gross motor skills by bouncing on the cool animals. To also help them with their hand eye coordination, they can use the velcro catch and release activity.

My Project

Aloha, I am a preschool special education teacher in Hawaii on one of the many military bases. All of our keiki are COVID babies. They were either born during Covid or just starting to understand life when the world closed and sent everyone indoors. Most of my keiki have sensory and fine/gross motor concerns. With these outdoor and indoor materials, our keiki are able to use their imagination while using their fine and gross motor skills to explore their surroundings. By using the bouncing animals, our keiki are able to use their words to make sound of the animals they are ride along with their whole bodies to make the animal bouncers move. With some of the other activities, the keiki are to use their fine motor/pincer grasp to help take apart and put things together along with again using their imagination and creative minds to explore their surroundings. They can use these activity sets to learn their letters, colors, and shapes.
