My Students

My students come to me for either full time or supplemental emotional support services. They have struggles that range from PTSD to behaviors due to learning and developmental delays. Whatever the struggle, I am always there for them and would not change it for the world. I am their biggest advocate and I love them!!!

My Project

Having a variety of resources to help teach the students in the classroom is key when it comes to Social Emotional Learning. Hands-on learning is most effective. The students in the classroom need to gain skills that will help them in their daily lives now and in the future. The proposed materials that I have chosen will help to build upon lessons that will help the students to develop better social emotional tools such as coping skills, and self-regulation.

I am very passionate about helping the students to develop a strong sense of social and emotional being.

We all experience social struggles and emotional struggles from time to time, but without the skills to overcome such tribulations life is much more complicated and also lead to poor decision making.
