My Project
Using the Prodigies music program online, students can watch videos to practice using bells to learn notes, repeat the tones vocally, and learn patterns within the music. The program also teaches about the types of notes and rhythms, starting in PreK and continuing through middle elementary grades. My students love to compose songs and learn how to play chords. I've had the handbells before, and the ringing part of the bell underneath is too accessible. Students pull on it and make it unable to play properly. I've had to throw away multiple bells this year due to this. Students can only play two bells maximum at a time if they are handbells.
The bells I requested here are tapped on to play and students can have a series of bells in front of them and can play an entire song by themselves.
This will allow for more musical opportunities with my students.
