This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am thrilled to share my passion for my speech students and the incredible potential they possess. Each child brings their unique strengths and challenges, and I love watching their confidence and communication skills grow. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive environment where they can thrive.

The resources I am requesting, including a compare & contrast deck, are essential tools that will enhance their learning experience.

The compare & contrast deck will help students develop critical reasoning skills as they learn to analyze similarities and differences. This skill is foundational for effective communication and understanding complex concepts.

Additionally, the sequencing verb tenses resource will empower students to express themselves more clearly by mastering verb forms. This is crucial for their storytelling and conversational abilities. The ask & answer wh- questions materials will encourage curiosity and improve their ability to engage in meaningful dialogue, allowing them to express their thoughts and needs more effectively.

The learning-to-label resources will aid in vocabulary expansion, which is vital for their overall language development. By categorizing words and concepts, students will strengthen their understanding and use of language in context. Overall, these resources will not only enhance their speech and language skills but also foster a love for learning and communication.
