This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A dramatic play area will develop and permit my children to understand and connect their play with the world's reality in their interest and knowledge. These materials will allow the children to develop their language, social, and cognitive skills. For instance, dramatic roles are essential in children's language development. At school, the children are taught the various professions that exist. Therefore, these materials will help define the children's future and reinforce what is being taught.

Dramatic play area helps students understand their individuality within the community, and discover and connect what they want to be when they grow up.

My classroom is filled with the "future"; bright four and 5-year-old students that come to school eager to discover something new about the world around them and dream about what they want to be when they grow up. Please help me provide a place they can grow and develop the imagination that can prepare them for their future careers.
