Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Project

This project will provide hands-on materials to help my students explore and understand ecosystems.

With items such as ecosystem kits, soil and water testing tools, magnifying glasses, plant growth kits, and interactive science models, students will be able to see science concepts come to life.

Instead of just reading about ecosystems in a textbook, my students will:

• Build and observe mini ecosystems.

• Test soil and water samples to analyze environmental changes.

• Use magnifiers and models to study plants, animals, and habitats.

• Work in groups to record data, discuss findings, and present results.

These materials will encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students will be able to connect what they learn in class to the real world, deepening their understanding of how ecosystems function and why protecting them is important.

My Project’s Impact

When students can see, touch, and explore concepts, their learning becomes more meaningful. These resources will give my students the opportunity to be scientists—asking questions, testing ideas, and sharing discoveries. This hands-on approach will not only build their science knowledge but also strengthen their teamwork, communication, and curiosity.

Your support will make a lasting difference in our classroom by turning abstract science lessons into exciting, interactive experiences. Thank you for helping my students grow as learners and future .
