Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items in this project will create a dynamic, hands-on learning environment where students can explore diverse cultures, practice empathy, and develop caregiving skills. The dolls, furniture, and adaptive equipment will facilitate role-playing activities that promote inclusivity, emotional intelligence, and responsibility. By interacting with these materials, students will engage in meaningful experiences that help them understand and appreciate the importance of caring for others while gaining valuable life skills.
My goal for this project is to cultivate a classroom that encourages empathy, diversity, and social awareness.
Through imaginative play, I aim to help students connect with different cultures and backgrounds, fostering a deeper understanding of the world around them. What makes my students special is their curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn. They come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, and they thrive in hands-on, engaging experiences that encourage them to develop social skills and a sense of responsibility toward others.
