This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I feel that every student should be given a chance to explore the world around them, but students don't always have the resources necessary to do so. These books allow students to explore other areas of the sciences that might not be covered in class.

I teach a variety of students and a variety of science classes.

I have some students that love biology and some that want to save the Earth. Others are wondering how we got here. These are just a few books to help students explore these areas and maybe give them insight into what they want to do in college and if science, then which area do they like the best?

My Project

Many times, books are the only way a student gets to experience various views of the world around them. Science is all about discovery and I want students to discover their potential. This might not be in the subject being taught, but students need to figure out for themselves what they are interested in. These books allow them to cover the major themes of science and make that decision for themselves.

These books will allow students to visualize concepts of science.

The books will allow them to see other views on ideas and help them comprehend in various ways. With these books, students will have a greater opportunity and more success in achieving greatness during and after high school.
