Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Adding these new materials will spark their interest and curiosity. Children need new materials to keep them engaged; these new materials will help with creating new activities for small or large group.
My goal for this project is to assist my students with their cognitive, language, and social and emotional development.
I want to expand student vocabulary by using baby clothes and sorting food items. I want to use these materials for recalling and memorization, so I can assist them with their cognitive development. These items can help with expanding their vocabulary, so it gives me the opportunity to work on their language. Finally, help me add paper bags and card stock paper in my class. My students will benefit from using these items by exploring different type of papers. These items will help to create language and cognitive activities for small group or choice time.
My students are special for being grateful and kind; they are always happy to see and use new materials. They enjoy repetition by using the same materials; I have noticed they enjoy seeing new boxes. I'm happy to see their smiles.
