Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These DK eyewitness books are so appealing to my students, yet our current set circa 2000 are now old and yellowing. These books are perfect for our students because they offer a chance for them to acquire new knowledge and perspective of the world around them in an entertaining form.
Updated non-fiction books can provide fascinating insight into history, science and other topics; offering a unique way to learn and explore.
Though my students may come from an economically disadvantaged neighborhood and some are English language learners, they have an amazing curiosity about the world around them! Help me make sure they are absorbing the most updated information!
