My Students
My students are energetic explorers of the world around them. Unfortunately, this world does not always provide all the material items they need in order to do their very best. A lot of our students come from low-income homes that are striving to face life's many hurdles head-on. Despite this, they are upbeat, curious, clever, and willing to participate at all times.
Quite simply, they want to be apart of the world around them to the fullest extent possible.
They love to interact with one another, and my job is to make sure they do so with confidence and intentionality.
My Project
Pencils, paper, and journals to track their journey that is the third grade-- my students' faces will light up when they're handed these supplies they come to school everyday telling me they do not have. They will use scissors to cut and create their paper trail in education. Seats for their library will lead their imaginations to soar in the stories they read.
A lot of us take for granted what our parents were able to equip us with when they sent us on our adventures to school every day.
Unfortunately, a lot of students want to learn but have limited tools in their backpacks. This causes such struggle. A teacher wants to give the world to their students, but financially, that is often, if not always, impossible. I promise you that your gracious donations are going to a loving, learning environment and will be wholeheartedly appreciated.
