This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of the headphones with the microphone is needed routinely in my classroom, especially during the use of technology to learn literacy in centers. I have ESOL students whose first language is not English. Through a literacy program students have the opportunity to listen to authentic conversations and other literacy skills by model students. The microphone on the headphones also allows for the opportunity for students practice those model conversations and record and listen as well as rerecord and review to practice speaking English.
By donating to our project, you will not only help students learn to speak English, students will improve their literacy skills through technology as well.
Students will be able to focus without distractions when learning literacy skills while using technology. This helps students improve literacy skills needed to ultimately achieve academic success.
