My Project
Kids love LEGOS! They have useful learning benefits. They will help my students expand their imagination to build creative things and develop their fine motor skills with these tactile materials. We can use Legos for so many different ways. For example, my young students can build the different animals and plants we study in our first grade "Animal and Plants" science unit.
LEGOs help spark their interest in STEM careers, and playing with Legos helps students regulate their emotions.
They can use these Legos for Science, Social Studies, and Math or even use for playing during indoor recess. LEGOs will enhance cooperative learning, give early finishers option to explore, and for students that need stress relief time. We will use LEGOs when the bad weather hits too hot to play outdoor and we need to play inside for recess.
