My Students
I am blessed to teach a group of energetic and motivated students. These kids thrive on inquiry-based science.
I am also blessed to have a parent base with high expectations for their kids.
It is really obvious, from the students' point of view, that parents place a great emphasis on progress in the academic arena.
My Project
ExploreLearning gives students access to over 400 math and science Gizmos, giving everyone something to graph, measure, and compare, they can even predict and prove. That's hundreds of opportunities where students act like scientists and mathematicians. I have used ExploreLearning with my students for the past 10 years. It has been a tremendous resource for face to face instruction but will be an absolute necessity as we navigate the virtual learning process. This was demonstrated during our sudden switch to virtual instruction in March of 2020. Thanks to an extended trial, the entire seventh grade was given access to this program last spring.
