My Project

I teach 3-5 year old's from low income families. My classroom this year consists of 13 students who speak both English and Spanish. They are eager and willing to learn and especially love explore the great outdoors! Pretend play and hands on activities are some of favorite ways to play!

With the struggles of the pandemic, my students were not able to go on field trips this year, which is why I want to make sure that I give them the chances to do so safely in the classroom, while maintaining the fun of the experience.

The tent and camping sets will go in our dramatic play area and will be a hit with the kiddos. The RV will be added to our block area where they can pretend to drive around to find their favorite camp spot. During this unit we will also be learning about weather and water safety. They will also be learning about first aid and other camping necessities. I cannot wait to explore the great outdoors with my kiddos with these generous donations.
