My Students
My students are superstars who capable of great things! They have developed a growth mindset of "If not now, eventually I CAN & I WILL". In a world where children grow up too fast, I want them to be able to explore and embrace still staying imaginative and creative.
They are curious about life and they love to research and experiment!
Their sense of humor and zest for life motivates me to seek new and interesting things for them to learn. We analyze and discuss current events and how we can affect the world. I am positive that they will influence and do great things!
My Project
My students need tremendous help with exploring the world through the pages of a book rather than dealing with adult realities outside their windows. We will use these books during readers workshop as well as for their own enjoyment. I read a chapter of a book series to my students everyday and seeing the wonder their eyes reassures me of the curiosity that reading unlocks in a child's mind.
Having access to these books and materials will allow my students the opportunity to expand their minds beyond their wildest dreams.
They crave learning and feed off of each others energy to know more than they did the day before. I love being a part of this process and I am excited to see how they will impact the world.
