I am seeking support to fund cultural craft projects for my 6th-grade exploratory languages course, where students will be immersing themselves in the vibrant cultures of France, Italy, and Spain. By engaging in hands-on craft activities tied to each country’s unique holidays, students will not only learn the language but also develop a deeper appreciation for these rich cultural traditions. From creating Mardi Gras masks in France to decorating Christmas stocking for La Befana in Italy and designing Day of the Dead sugar skulls for Mexico, these projects will make cultural learning come alive. The All-Purpose Teaching Cart and materials needed for these fun, interactive lessons will help provide a memorable educational experience, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and cultural exploration in a way that textbooks alone cannot. Your support will make these exciting, immersive lessons possible for my students, bringing the world to life in the classroom.
