Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom currently has resources and materials that provide students with sensory exploration. Having a light table added to our classroom will allow my students to enhance their learning and exploring through the use of light. Light will enhance as well as allow the students to have a different visual perception of objects. Lighted surfaces enhance colors and provoke creativity in children. The children in my classroom learn best visually, the light table will allow the children to notice the subtle details and become better observers. The light table will add the much needed visual perception we need!
