My Project
I love that my students have an endless cache of questions at the ready for whatever lesson they are being taught that day. The fact that their inquisitive minds want answers to questions about the world (that they didn't know they had) reaffirms my purpose for teaching in the classroom everyday. I noticed that during my teaching that many students had little to no map skills and did not know how to read or interpret information on the map. Some students did not even know where their country or continent was located on the map. This project aims to remedy that deficiency and broaden their global perspective in a practical manner where they can utilize this information in their daily lives.
