My students need Discovery Tubes, Giant Roller Ramps and Wind Tunnel Discovery for more hands on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) materials to explore the world around them.

My Students

Kindergarten students are extremely curious about the world around them. In our classroom we have scheduled time for exploration and hands-on problem solving to create a love for discovery and learning.

I have a class of 25 kindergarten students who are driven by exploration and hands-on experiences.

They have a natural love of discovery, and my goal is to help foster and nurture that excitement in learning. Students learn best through application of the skills they are learning, and love working through hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education.

My Project

Kindergarten is a year of wonder and discovery. The ability to play and manipulate real materials is vital to explore the world. My kindergarten students will benefit from these materials and will be able to apply and test their thinking. STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) centers are a beloved time of day for my students.

Wind tunnels, chain reaction sets, and the other STEM tools will provide my students the opportunity to apply and test their thinking about how things work.

These materials will help my students gain a better understanding of the world around them. With the addition of these STEM materials, students will have more possibilities and choices when it is STEM time, providing them with ample opportunities to work cooperatively and to creatively solve problems throughout the year.
