Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our STEM classroom, curiosity is the starting point for everything we do. My students learn best when they can explore, experiment, and discover concepts through hands-on experiences that bring science to life.

With access to essential lab equipment like thermometers, students will be able to collect real data, make observations, and think like true scientists.

These tools allow them to move beyond textbooks and actively engage in meaningful investigations that build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

To support their focus and energy, snacks will also play an important role in our classroom. Many of my students benefit from having a small boost during the day, helping them stay engaged, motivated, and ready to participate fully in STEM activities.

This project will create an environment where students feel supported, excited to learn, and confident in their ability to explore new ideas. By combining hands-on tools with basic needs like nourishment, we are not just teaching science; we are empowering the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
