Experiential Learning for Us!

Help me give my students supplies to maximize our outdoor lab experiential learning experience!

My Project

Outdoor Lab is an expeditionary learning opportunity for our 6th graders to experience learning outside the box! We will trek into the wilderness, hike trails, learn about the mountain ecosystem, experience team building and collaboration, and take our learning into nature's classroom! From Leave No Trace and Archery to Hydrosphere and Geosphere, not to mention the food waste campaign and sustainability and stewardship focus, this week-long adventure is sure to leave its mark on our minds and mindsets! So grateful and excited for our upcoming experience! Mount Blue Sky and Windy Peak, here we come!!!

We will use these resources to create Outdoor Lab nametags, artwork & experiential learning opportunities (with whiteboards) while we are there as well as make videos and record our experiences with pictures to ensure our memories are saved forever!

We're even supplementing our Zero Food Waste Campaign with ideas brought back from the "family style" food waste practices we learn there! Hands on learning that includes creativity & innovation is the BEST!
