This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This hands-on experience is what my students need. I am a teacher that believes in having students use critical thinking to solve the mysteries of history. The students will jump into the mind of Leonardo Da Vinci and use critical thinking skills to build one of his great inventions, the catapult. These students love hands-on activities that will give them a better understanding of the impact Leonardo Da Vinci had on society and technology. This stem cross-curricular activity will bring history alive.
The students will work in groups to become the next Leonardo Da Vinci or at least enjoy the accomplishments of cooperative learning.
