Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our high school were very enthusiastic about starting a robotics club. Myself and the students hope these supplies will help to foster growth in STEM at our school. We plan to do this by separating the students into groups and have each group build an individual kit.

Each group will have to use the kit to design a robot to preform certain tasks and potentially complete a challenge.

With this, they will learn the basics of wiring, structural integrity, and programming skills that can then be applied to real world sciences and to our competitive season.

Most of these students do not have any formal robotics experience so they are excited to build things with their own hands and see what they can accomplish.
