My amazing 3rd grade students come to school excited and prepared to learn. They are excited to learn new lessons and skills every day. This new iPad will be used to research science project and participate in scientific investigations in and outside of the classroom. I am charged with the responsibilities of helping students increase assessment scores and making sure my students' show growth in reading, math, science, and social studies. My students experience whole group instruction, while also participating in small groups activities. My classroom consists of a diverse population of students.
In this world of such a fast-paced and ever changing age of technology, it is imperative teachers use what students already know, and are engaged in, to enhance their learning.
It is my hope that I may continue to support and reinforce mathematics skills and science concepts, throughout this year, using an iPad.
