This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, this is the time of year when student's start to progress and turn into readers! Guided reading allows me to provide small group instruction to help improve reading skills and allow my students to be the best reader possible.

This collection of guided reading books will help provide my students with resources needed to help develop them into successful readers!

By expanding our guided reading library students will have experience with different stories and expose them to different types of texts. It will also give them the resources needed to apply their reading strategies and work toward becoming successful independent readers!
