This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are 4-and 5-year-old that come from low-income families or have just arrived from their home countries. The pandemic has changed things in homes, schools, and even classrooms. My students have been eager to be back in the classroom and want to learn.

I would like to keep working on their literacy sills by providing the resources such as foam letters, paper, and even wood shapes.

They can use the letters on letter identifications as well as making words. The different wood shapes will be used for them to make an art project to present to their friends and express themselves.
