it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love getting my students excited about social studies. History, current events, geography, all play a role in shaping our lives as we create our own history. I want my students to fully immerse themselves into that.
This project would allow students to learn about the world around them and history through the eyes of these notable authors.
Historical fiction gives students the chance to learn more about significant world events while as they read. There is such a focus on improving grade level reading. These stories would get students excited about reading.
