Help me give my students opportunities to utilize art supplies and mediums such as reusable printing plates and Gyotaku forms as well as consumables we would not be able to otherwise.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Van De Graaff's classroom raised $986
This project is fully funded
My Students
I am a Beverley Taylor Sorenson Visual Arts Educator who teaches 700 students at an elementary school. Students come to my classroom in groups ranging from 24-37 students at a time. My primary goal is to provide my students with opportunities to integrate visual art with their classroom core subjects.
My Project
Due to recent Covid-19 setbacks, students are in need of any possible support to help them meet learning goals. The arts provide students with hands-on, solution-based learning opportunities that allow all types of learners to excel.
I work to provide arts-integrated individual lessons geared to meet specific grade-level needs missed during Covid shutdowns.
The Gyotaku reptiles and printing plates will be used for lessons on animal adaptations and habitats, the plaster cloth will be used to build model landforms, and the ceramic glazes will be used to learn about chemical changes.
