My Project

These diverse multicultural books will be used by teachers and preschool students. Preschool is the perfect time to begin teaching them about inclusion and diversity. Students will have the opportunity to have these books read to them during story time or look at them on their own. Our library is outdated and is not a good representation of our diverse classroom. The students in my classroom are eager to learn and have overcome many obstacles during their young lives. They want to be able to read library books that have characters that look like them. Making sure these books get into the hands of my students is a priority especially in our journey for justice.
