My Project

I have assembled an eclectic collection of book titles that will hopefully appeal to students of many backgrounds, interests, and reading levels. These books represent several recognized classics, modern teacher recommended favorites, compelling high interest books, and companion books to supplement anchor trade books we study as a class.

You can support the expansion of a classroom library with the goal of inspiring literacy and development in students with a wide spectrum of neuro-divergent brains.

I hope to include books to interest even my reluctant readers. Students will be encouraged to read these books during early finish time, Friday free read time, and at other times for personal reading.

My existing classroom library consists of older books that are mostly for younger readers (most were inherited from other classroom libraries). I would like to expand my selection with a combination of modern printed classics and current high interest choices for multiple reading levels and interests.
