Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This equipment will enhance our learning of Exercise. It will assist us by learning different ways to get our bodies in shape and keeping ourselves healthy. Our students will be using the dumbbells, barbells, and kettle bells to exercise their arms and hands along with their legs. The yoga mats will give them a place to stretch and meditate.
Exercise helps little bodies and minds grow.
Our curriculum teaches all about exercise but the children need equipment to facilitate the hands-on learning. When students use the equipment their experiences become enriched. Our children will get the opportunity to gain balance and control of their bodies with the balance beams and stepping stones. We hope to add this equipment to our everyday exercise not just our Exercise Study.
In PreK we attempt to make every learning experience fun and exciting. The equipment we are requesting will do that for many children. Exercise should not be a chore but a fun experience to make into a habit. Allow us the opportunity to show kids with this equipment.
