This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing students and the community members the opportunity to have access to a fitness center is essential. This will help students prioritize their physical and mental health. Research shows that students' academic performance increases when they incorporate physical fitness in their daily routine.
Students will be able to exercise using the treadmill, row machine and dumbbells before class begins in the morning, or during fitness club after school with a certified fitness instructor to strengthen their physical and mental health.
Exposing students to different cardiovascular training such as running on a treadmill and strength training exercises by using the row machine or light dumbbells will increase or create interest in living a healthy lifestyle throughout their lifetime.
