My Project

As the English author Joseph Addison once said, "Reading is to the mind, what exercise is to the body."

Every day, my students spend at least thirty minutes in class exercising their minds by reading books of their own choosing.

Numerous studies have proven what many teachers and parents already know - that children learn more, are more engaged, and are more likely to continue reading when they have the opportunity to choose what they read.

Your support of this project will put the works of both well-loved and new authors into their hands, as my students continue to keep their minds in shape.
