Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day of the school year is a new adventure. Everyone is treated as family and challenges are tackled one at a time. Each student is expected to do his or her best, and teaching is meaningful, fun, and done with "how the brain learns" in mind.
In our elementary school, our students are mostly from Hispanic background working together to achieve their dreams.
Our school is a Title I school that confronts many challenges, among them the language barrier of many of our students and parents.
My Project
Creativity is one of the most important aspect in childhood. It works as a way to personal expression and neuron development to think clearly and beyond what the children have in front of them.
These Legos sets will give my students the concrete materials to express their feelings and give form-shape to what it is inside of them, their imaginations, the abstracts concepts in their minds and souls.
