This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at La Mesa Dale are in need of a variety of PE equipment. Students from kindergarten-6th grade will be utilizing the equipment. We need things such as basketballs, footballs, hockey sticks, rackets, pumps, and more. The students have been asking for new equipment in order to play the games that they enjoy.
Exercise is a great way to alleviate stress and allow the brain to relax and focus for learning.
We need the PE equipment to motivate activity and make our PE program successful for all ages. We stress physical activity as well as sportsmanship. Many of our students don't get a chance to play physical games at home. This is a chance to encourage students to participate in active games. We appreciate your support!
