I love my students' resilience and their unique ability to rise to challenges, especially when facing behavioral struggles. They each bring a diverse set of strengths, and with the right resources, I know they can thrive both academically and personally. My goal for this project is to create a supportive, physically engaging environment where students can channel their energy, improve focus, and develop healthy coping mechanisms through physical activity.
The specific items I’m requesting—treadmills and stationary bikes—will provide my students with an outlet for stress and anxiety, allowing them to release tension and refocus their energy in productive ways.
Regular exercise is proven to improve concentration and emotional well-being, both of which are essential for their academic success. These tools will help my students learn to self-regulate, stay focused during class, and build self-discipline, which will carry over into other areas of their lives.
What makes my students special is their perseverance. They face obstacles that many others don’t, yet they continue to show up, eager to learn and grow. I want to provide them with the best resources possible so they can feel empowered and supported in their journey. These exercise tools will not only help them in school but also give them the foundation to succeed in life.
