My students need 24 individual analog clocks to learn telling time.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Smith's classroom raised $196
This project is fully funded
I teach second and third grade in a small Northern California town. We are part of a multi-age program that values engaging, hand-on learning. Some of our students are English Language learners, and some live at low socio-economic levels.
Digital clocks are EVERYWHERE, and my kids need to learn telling time on an analog clock. Right now our school has one set of 11 geared analog clocks, that is shared between 4 classes (about 80 students).
We need our own class set of clocks, so we will always have them on hand. (Currently, we have to schedule a time to borrow the clocks from another teacher.) Having a class set will mean that every child can work at their own level with telling time, and get the practice they need to master this necessary skill.
With YOUR help, our children will be able to learn the difficult skill of telling time on an analog clock. Put these clocks into their hands, and they will learn!
