This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am more than excited to get the classroom ready for the new school year and I am requesting these items to freshen up the space for my incoming students. With these books and flexible seating, students will have more choices to choose from when it comes to what kind of reading environment they want to create.
My goal is to have these additions help create engaged readers within our bilingual classroom.
I would love for my students to have an array of options for them to read; to continue fostering their relationship with literature. They are more than deserving of these materials and I know they will feel motivated to continue their reading journey in both English and Spanish!
