Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of computer paper for their various writing projects we make inside the classroom. Inside our room my students are creating stories in all different writing genres. They are creating both informational and realistic texts where they are displaying all the different writing techniques that we are learning.
My first graders are learning how to create sentences with subjects and predicates.
They are also incorporating adjectives and strong verbs into their writing to make stories come alive to those who read it throughout the hallway. It is so important for us to have computer paper to fill up our classroom printer so that we can make these stories be displayed on bulletin boards around the school.
Having printable card stock will help make the covers of our stories appealing to those who would love to read them. After printing on the card stock my students will be able to add markers, colored pencils, and crayons to color in their writing to become illustrators of their own stories.
