My Project
The use of modifying and engaging visual hands-on activity is critically important in the ASL/English Bilingual Deaf Education classroom. I work at Texas School for the Deaf teaching young brilliant Deaf 9th and 10th grade students. Since I work for a state school, the budget for curriculum materials is very limited. I want to provide the best resources including the visual hands-on activity for my Deaf students.
In my vision of math classes, the best way to improve the learning dynamics in the classroom is by engaging and boosting self-driven students into learning through real-world concepts and hands-on activities.
The brilliant Geometry curriculum with activity bundle developed by "All Things Algebra" sold by Teachers Pay Teachers can be used to empower my Deaf students to learn inside and outside the classroom with great visual hands-on real-world activity implementation in the curriculum.
