Exciting Interactive Science Teaching With an iPad!
I need to use this iPad as an interactive teaching tool. The iPad would give me the opportunity to incorporate up to date technology in the classroom.

My Students
I teach 7th and 8th grade science and 6th grade robotics in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, New York! My students are a mixture of English Language Learners (ELLs) and Special Education students who are preparing for high school. Most of my students live in poverty and I do everything I can to meet their daily needs as a teacher. My students have dreams of being future professionals and contributing to the professional world. I love to make their learning fun, creative, and an enjoyable experience. When I increase my knowledge with the use of current technology, it is demonstrated in my lessons, instruction, and the achievements for my students.
My Project
I would like to use the latest model of the iPad to assist me with accessing a wider variety of professional development opportunities. This iPad will also help me to incorporate up to date technology in the classroom.
The latest iPad model has the ability to be a completely interactive technological resource, especially when adapting handouts or guided notes that have been annotated.
Students can then view these annotated notes to help with the learning process. The learning capabilities are never ending and can be revolutionary in today's society.
An interactive iPad would allow me and help to access Microsoft Education platforms from the web. By engaging in Microsoft Education platforms it will empower me to better develop learning outcomes for all students and it will help me transform my classroom into a digital learning environment that would benefit my current and future students.
An interactive iPad, would help me instill a passion for STEM education by allowing my students the opportunity to explore current scientific internet information, problem-solving skills, and coding while igniting my students confidence in STEM/STEAM curricula.
By teaching with an iPad, I will be able to access a wide variety of educational programs, including, but not limited to, Smart NoteBook activities, NYC/NYS Science Activities, STEM/STEAM activities, and coding applications for my robotics classes. Not only will the iPad benefit my students, but it will also allow me the opportunity to participate in professional development surrounding current technological advances. My goal is to further my knowledge and use of technology as a pivotal part of my instruction in order for me to provide a diverse learning environment that is crucial to all my students' various learning needs.
