My students need a document camera and wireless adapter so everyone can see writing examples, and a case to store both.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
With large classes and budget cuts limiting the number of copies teachers can make, it is hard to share lots of great examples of writing with all students. A document camera with a wireless adapter and a case to store it all would help solve this problem.
The darlings in my classroom are pre-teens and teenagers swimming in a sea of horrible writing and grammar (I won't name any social networks).
They come from low socio-economic backgrounds and often do not have the opportunity to be immersed in great writing.
My Project
With a wireless document camera, the students will not only be able to see examples of great writing which I would be able to project for the whole class, they would also be able to travel around the room and broadcast examples of their own discovered great pieces of writing - including their own work! The carrying case will insure that these invaluable pieces of technology are kept safe and usable for years to come.
I would love to have a classroom where budget is not something that gets in the way of student learning.
Bypassing the need for precious copies by using a document camera to share great examples of writing is one way to create such a classroom.
