My Students

I have the ability to work with students in a Title 1 school district, trauma-informed, where most of our students can not afford the simple supplies they need to have to learn and grow. Our school system is so amazing, and each student walks into our building daily feeling safe, entering a positive environment and being motivated to conquer what obstacles that may come their way for the day. We strive to teach our students’ they can accomplish anything they set their mind to regardless of what their circumstances outside of school may be.

I work with students from pre-k - 5, on all levels: SPED, ELL, gifted, etc.

My Project

Allowing the students’ I work with the ability to read diverse books will help open minds, and create a loving environment that shows we are all the same regardless of race, religion, country of origin. Our school is an urban school that encourages each student to move one another, learn about other cultures and enjoy reading. The books I have chosen is a very diverse set of books that includes those with disabilities as well. I hope you will consider helping our students’ learn, we are all in this together.
