This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a special group of very eager and active preschoolers. They enjoy learning about many different things and need different types of materials to help them stay excited about learning and actively engaged.

My students especially love learning about the world they live in.

Help me provide books to read to them in their native language to help capture their attention and keep them engaged. The craft materials will allow them the opportunity to use hands-on learning and to be creative. The puzzles and crafts will help stimulate their thinking while they play. These materials will help strengthen their fine motor skills and further their vocabulary both in their native language and in English.

These materials will allow me the opportunity not only to teach them about the world they live in, but about how to help take care of it.
