My Students
Save our books! Many of our books are falling apart. One way to help keeps those books in our hand is to use technology to view books.
My students are Kindergarten students.
Most students come into school not being able to hold a book correctly, turn a page the correct way, or even know the direction you should read. These students are high poverty students who are given free lunch and breakfast.
My Project
By giving my students a new tablet they will be able to engage in new technology that will inspire them to continue to read. One of the favorite things in my classroom is a computer. I would be able to offer students more time with the technology they love while improving their reading skills.
Help me continue to encourage students to want to read.
Give them the opportunity to read by using a tablet. This will enhance students engagement while working on building important reading skills.
