Exceptional Student Interns Need Energy and Creativity!
Help me give my students with exceptionalities the opportunity to make tie-dye shirts, and dresses for themselves. Students will also need snacks to keep up their energy for learning.
COVID-19 has impacted learning for my students with exceptionalities, as their families have been struggling to meet their basic needs.
I want to teach my students how to express how they feel as a result of COVID-19 by creating various tie-dye products for themselves.
Tie Dye is a fun, creative way to help them learn how to look at and copy an item. They also learn to follow directions and learn independence by tie-dying shirts, shoes, and dresses for themselves.
This extraordinary project will teach my unique SPED students functional life skills by providing real-life, hands-on learning experiences in light of COVID-19. This project will teach soft skills and help students emotionally as they continue to excel in a family-orientated school like ours!
Students also need snacks to keep up with their creative ideas!
